It has just struck me that no one in Weatherfield appears to have a vege patch. I remember that Jack Duckworth had an allotment a few years back, but no one else seems to grow their own - not even Norris. (Deidre should probably start growing her own tobacco at the rate she's chugging through the ciggies at the moment.)
Which got me thinking: nobody on Shortland Street has a garden either. Perhaps Chris could help Harry get over his mum's death by planting a vege patch. They could spell out 'Toni' in mesclun salad seedlings...
They could ask Nicole Kidman for a few pointers, or a "frugalista" like Elizabeth Hurley...

Good point, I can only think of one Coro character to have a vege patch and that was Craig's grandfather, can't remember his name but he came into the picture after KT offed herself after confessing to murdering her dad, he also went with Audrey for awhile but kept wanting to do their dates on the cheap (do u know who I mean?)
Anyway, as for Shorty's, TK would so suit having a backyard vege patch.
Mmmm. I'd quite like to see TK get his shirt off and get on the end of a spade :) hehe
Considering gardening worldwide is one of the top hobbies you seriously have to wonder why tv scriptwriters ignore it completely. I guess none of them have that sort of imagination...
